All field tasks, awards, and shinys in Pokémon GO (May 2022)
For the month of May 2022, Niantic has renewed the research missions, their prizes, and shinys in Pokémon GO. All of the ones you can currently finish are listed here.
The new Pokémon GO challenges and prizes are already accessible in Spain and the rest of the world for the month of May 2022. The Niantic game has been updated, as is customary, to include a new research milestone as well as new prizes in its field research missions, which we may obtain by turning Poképaradas. If you’re curious about them all, we’ve included them in this news.
The research achievement for the seven daily seals of Pokémon GO for the month of May 2022 is as follows:
- The Alolan Pokémon Grimer* will be available to claim from 10:00 p.m. CET on Sunday, May 1, 2022, until 1:00 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

The following is a complete list of field jobs and prizes for the month of May 2022, organized by groups (Pokémon indicated with an asterisk are likely to appear in their shiny or variocolor version):
Start a Project
- Make three Grand Throws: 200 Stardust, three Razz, one Pinap, and five Poké Balls, or face Anorith*, Lileep*, or Snubbull*.
- Spinda encounter*: Hit 5 Great Curveball Throws in a Row.
- Make 5 successful throws: 200 Stardust, 3 Razz, 1 Pinia, 5 Poké Balls, or face Dunsparce*.
- Gible encounter* if you make three Great Throws in a row.
- Make three Grand Throws in a row to get 1,000 Stardust, one Rare Candy, nine Razz, three Pinia, ten Poké Balls, five Ultra Balls, or an Onix encounter*.
- Make a great throw: 500 Stardust, 2 Pinia, 5 Super Balls or 2 Ultra Balls, or a Dratini* encounter.
- 2 good curveballs in a row: 200 Stardust, 3 Razz, 1 Pinap, or 5 Pokéballs
- Make five consecutive curveball throws: 500 Stardust, 6 Razz, 2 Pinap, or 5 Super Balls.
- 1000 Stardust, 1 Rare Candy, 9 Razz, 3 Pinap, 10 Pokéballs, or 5 Ultra Balls are three terrific curveball tosses.
- Make three consecutive fantastic curve ball throws: 1,500 Stardust, 3 Rare Candy, 2 Golden Razz, or 10 Ultra Balls.
- Throw 500 Stardust, 2 Pinia, 5 Super Balls, or 2 Ultra Balls three times in a row.
Responsibilities in combat
- Win a raid level 3 or above, and you’ll be able to fight Kabuto* or Omanyte*.
- 1 raid victory: battle with Zigzagoon de Galar*
- Aerodactyl encounter* if you win 5 raids.
- Battle with Mudkip* in the GO Battle League.
- Encounter with Carvanha * to purify a shadow Pokémon.
Capture tasks
- Catch 5 Pokemon with Weather Buff: Encounter Poliwag*, Vulpix*, Hippopotas*, or Snover*.
- Catch 5 Pokémon: Encounter Duskull* or Misdreavus*.
- Capture 5 Pokémon of different species: encounter with Exeggcute *.
- Capture 7 Pokémon: Encounter with Magikarp*.
- Catch 10 Pokémon: 200 Stardust, 3 Razz, 1 Pinap or 5 Poké Balls.
- Catch a Dragon-type Pokémon: Encounter Dratini* or Bagon*.
- Use 5 Berries to help you catch Pokémon: 500 Stardust, 6 Razz, 2 Pinia, 5 Super Balls, or encounter Spinarak*, Ledyba*, or Yanma*.
- Catch 10 Pokémon: 200 Stardust, 3 Razz, 1 Pinap or 5 Poké Balls.
- Catch 10 Weather-buffed Pokémon: 500 Stardust, 6 Razz, 2 Pinap, or 5 Super Balls.
- 1500 Stardust, 3 Rare Candy, 2 Golden Razz, or 10 Ultra Balls if you catch a Ditto.
- Obtain 500 Stardust, 6 Razz, 2 Pinap, or 5 Super Balls by catching 10 Normal-Type Pokémon.
- 6 Razz, 2 Pinia, 500 Stardust, or 5 Super Balls may be used to catch 10 Fire-type Pokémon.
- 6 Razz, 2 Pinia, 500 Stardust, or 5 Super Balls may be used to catch 10 Water-type Pokémon.
- 6 Razz, 2 Pinia, 500 Stardust, or 5 Super Balls = 10 Grass-type Pokémon
Tasks for Partners
- Trade a Pokémon for a chance to meet Machop*.
- Send three presents and include a sticker with each: Jigglypuff*.
- By strolling with your companion, you can earn 1 sweet and meet Lillipup*.
- By strolling with your Buddy: Bunnelby encounter*, you can get 2 sweets.
- With your Companion: Stunfisk encounter, earn 3 hearts.
- Pikachu encounter*: Earn 5 candies with your partner.
Multiple responsibilities
- Evolve a Pokémon: Eevee * encounter
- Take a Wild Pokémon Snapshot if you come across a Murkrow*, Hoppip*, Yanma*, or 1 Pride Rock.
- Take a photo of a wild Water-type Pokémon encounter: Remoraid*.
- 500 Stardust, 6 Frambu, 2 Pinia, 5 Poké Balls, or a Sudowoodo* encounter can be obtained by spinning three Pokéstops or Gyms.
- Ralts* may be found at turn 5 Pokéstops or Gyms.
- Confront Mantine* or Klink* after hatching an egg.
- Encounter Beldum* after hatching 2 eggs.
Tasks that will offer you greater strength
- Encounter Bulbasaur*, Charmander*, or Squirtle* to power up a Pokémon three times.
- Encounter Chikorita*, Cyndaquil*, or Totodile* after powering up a Pokémon 5 times.
- Encounter Treecko*, Torchic*, or Mudkip* after powering up a Pokémon seven times.
- 5 times increase the power of a Pokémon: Mega Energy of the Venusaur is ten.
- 5 times increase the power of a Pokémon: Mega Energy of 10 Pidgeots
- Boost a Pokémon ten times: Mega Energy of 20 Gyarado
Activities involving Augmented Reality Mapping AR
- 3 Super Potions, 3 Revives, 10 Poké Balls, and 5 Ultra Balls are all part of the AR mapping.
- 1 Silver Pinia AR Mapping
- 1 Fast Attack MT AR Mapping
- 1 Charged Attack MT AR Mapping
- Sinnoh Stone AR Mapping
- 1 Pokocho for AR Mapping.
