Detective Pikachu is released
On May 10, Detective Pikachu in Pokémon movie based on the popular Nintendo videogame .
The first real-action Pokémon adventure , starred Ryan Reynolds in the role of Pikachu, the iconic face of the global phenomenon Pokémon, one of the most popular multigenerational entertainment products in the world and the most successful media franchise of all time.
The film also includes a number of endearing Pokémon characters , each with their own abilities and personality.
The story begins with the mysterious disappearance of detective Harry Goodman who forces his son Tim, 21, to find out what happened. Detective Pikachu, Harry’s old Pokémon partner, is going to help him with his investigation. He is an adorable and very funny super-detective who amazes everyone, even himself!
Tim and Pikachu discover that they can communicate with each other in an absolutely incredible way and together they embark on an exciting adventure to unravel the strange mystery. They look for clues through the neon-lit streets of Ryme City, a huge modern metropolis where humans and Pokémon share a hyperrealistic world of real action.
They will meet different Pokémon characters and discover a chilling plot that could destroy this peaceful coexistence and threaten the entire Pokémon universe.

Pokémon: Detective Pikachu is directed by Rob Letterman and starring Justice Smith (“Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom”) as Tim; by Kathryn Newton («Lady Bird», TV series «Big Little Lies») as Lucy, a junior reporter working on her first great story; and by Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe (“Godzilla”, “The Last Samurai”) as Lieutenant Yoshida.
